15-YEAR-OLD singer/teen model, Nash Tillah, was one of the most applaud performers in the Grand Music Palace Philippines‘s final recital happened last Saturday, June 16, at the Teatrino in Greenhills, San Juan.

Grand Music Palace Philippines is a well-known entertainment company that gives affordable music courses such as voice, piano, guitar, violin, and keyboard. It’s owned by our dear friends, Roger de Leon and Prof. Ryan Manal. One of their most famous talents are Tori Garcia, Ronnie Liang, Aljur Abrenica, Sofia Andres, Geoff Eigenmann, and many more.

During the recital, students sang and danced to the songs of Grease, a musical film starring Olivia Newton-John as Sandy Olsson and John Travolta as Danny Zuko. Nash Tillah played a role of Danny Zuko, and sang songs, like You’re the One That I Want and Summer Nights with his classmate, Erika Mae Salas as Sandy.

Aside from the popular songs from Grease, they sang their hearts out to the famous songs in the 70’s, such as YMCA‘s Macho Man, at VST & Co.‘s Tayo’y Magsayawan. Nash did a solo performance and sang the song Solitaire by The Carpenters.

After the recital, I had a chance to interview Nash. I asked him who are his favorite celebrities. “Ang favorite ko pong actor ay si Johnny Depp. I like his versatility as an actor. I admire his personality and character when it comes to being a protagonist or antagonist.” He said.

“I’m also a huge fan po of Vilma Santos. Gusto ko po ang pagganap niya sa pelikula. Ang favorite ko pong artist ay sina Darren Espanto and Ed Sheeran.” He continued.

I asked him about his plan in the future, “Plan ko po maging nurse or pediatrician as my profession. I also want to be a great singer like Lea Salonga.” He said.

I was also curious about his celebrity crush and he answered, “Si Kyline Alcantara po.” He smiled.

Nash Tillah is the eldest son of actress-singer Allona Amor. For now, Nash is focusing on his career as a model and singer, and his studies at Marist School in Marikina as a 10th grader student.

His mom and I noticed his potential as a model and a performer, and has a beautiful face, so we weren’t surprise if he can easily penetrate in show business. His performance in Teatrino is just a start of his blossoming career.
