Singer-songwriter Garry Cruz will receive an award for Outstanding Male Performing Artist in this year’s Family’s Choice Consumers Award

TONIGHT, June 17, he will receive an award for Family’s Choice for Best Male Performer in this year’s Family’s Choice Consumers Award. It’ll happen at Icon Hotel in Timog, Quezon City. This is one of the blessings he received within this week.

Last week, the lyric video of Garry Cruz’s Kahit Mali ang Puso reached over 1.1 Million views and 3,600 likes on YouTube. It was uploaded three years ago by Criste Abucal.

Singer-composer Garry Cruz was surprised about this, and share the video on his Facebook page with the caption: “WOW, After so many years Umabot na sa almost 1.1 Million Views ang song kong Kahit Mali Ang Puso.” Said Garry.

Garry thanked Cristel, and the people who are still supporting him, “Lyric Video was made by Criste Abucal for her personal listening pleasure. Thanks to you!: And to all of you who listened and continue listening. Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong pag tangkilik at suporta sa aking Awitin. To my collaborators Edwin Marollano who did the melody ang Albert Tamayo who arrange the song. We made the 1M mark guys! Congratulations to all of us!” He declared.

He also posted on Facebook that his song Kung Alam Mo Lang is now listed in the karaoke song books. He thanked God for the blessings he received within this week, “Praise God, i pray a lot but i don’t ask much. Yet another blessing was given to me unexpectedly. Eto na na ba yung kasabihang “It comes in Three”. Una I won the Brgy election. 2nd my Song Kung Alam Mo Lang reached the 1 milliion mark on Youtube and now this. Thanks Kay Nepomuceno for informing me. Di ko pa malalaman kung di mo sinabi. Hahaha. Thank you Lord for your love.You made it happened. Sikat na talaga ang song.” He said.

Garry Cruz was known for his excellence in singing and composing. He composed the several songs such as Kung sana Bukas (theme song of GMA 7’s Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita!) and Nahuhulog Sa’yo (theme song of GMA’s fanteserye, Grazilda.
